India's 60th Indendence Day with this special program held
on 19th August at Cathedral of Learning. The parade was followed
by a flag hoisting ceremony and Indian Cultural Program.

Mulukha Wegli Manse is a fun filled “Kisse
Kathan” or “Gappa Goshti” Session by Sudheer
Gadgil. He has been a journalist, columnist in leading Marathi
newspapers. However, he is most well known as a celebrity
interviewer, comperer, and program facilitator. Sudheer
Gadgil has interviewed over 1000 Mulkha Wegli Manse during
his career and unfolds their hilarious stories and touchy
experiences for the audience. Sudheer instantaneously connects
with the audience due to his talent, a witty sense of humor
and unique style of narration. The audience is taken on
a joy ride through theater, cinema, cricket, politics, criminal
world, Mumbai, Pune, rural Maharashtra and so forth.
The program gets even more interesting at
the end when Gadgil invites the audience to ask questions.
Expect more stories, more jokes, poetry, and more entertainment.
Sudheer has performed this program for Marathi
speaking people in Mauritius, Tokyo, Dubai, London, and
across the United States. The reviews of critical Marathi
audiences from North America are published in Ekta, and
BMM Vritta. These reviews confirm that Mulkha Wegli Manse
is a high caliber, and very entertaining program.
MMPGH provided a chance to the Pittsburgh
audience to participate in “Mulukha Wegli Manse”
a unique, never ending Mehfil of stories and laughter.

program by Sri. Vijay Kelkar and Smt. Anuradha kelkar
This year we performed a "Atharvashishya Aavartana"
during the Ganapati Pooja. Mahaprasad was served after the
puja which was attended by more than 500 guests.
We had also arranged a special musical program
with performance by guest artists from Pune, Shri Vijay
Kelkar and Smt Anuradha Kelkar in the afternoon. Shri and
Smt. Kelkar have been performing in Maharashtra presenting
light music. They can present bhavgeets and bhajans in marathi
and hindi. For their Pittsburgh program, they presented
songs from Geet Ramayan for about one hour and other popular
marathi songs from 60's and 70's for another hour.

This will be an fun-filled evening with Antakshari, games
and delicious food along with the signature 'Masala Milk'.
This event will be free for Blue Card Members. There will
be a nominal charge of $5 (per family) for yellow card members
